Kaylind N. Landes graduated from the University of Tulsa College of Law with honors. She was a part of the Energy Law Journal and received the CALI award (highest grade) for Indian Gaming Law. She participated in the health law moot court team and received the Order of the Barristers, which is awarded to the top 10 trial students within the law school.
Kaylind started at the Tulsa County DA's office, then moved to Rogers County before switching to criminal defense. Her prosecution background gives her an unmatched edge defending clients.
Prosecuted the full range of criminal cases, from misdemeanor DUIs to First Degree Rape. Handled charging, motion writing, preliminary hearings, and both jury and non-jury trials.
Continued her prosecution career, gaining experience across a different jurisdiction and court system before making the switch to defense.
Now uses her insider knowledge of how the state builds its case to dismantle prosecution arguments and protect her clients’ futures.
Kaylind primarily handles DUI and DWI cases. She enjoys working these cases to ensure that both the criminal side and the civil driver's license case are handled properly. Kaylind prefers to take a holistic approach that ensures minimal disruption to her client's lives.
In her spare time, Kaylind volunteers as a coach for the Owasso High School Mock Trial team and acts as the OSU liaison for her sorority, Pi Beta Phi. Giving back to the next generation of aspiring legal professionals is a point of personal pride.
